How did you meet Christ: I was saved at a revival service led by a Godly minister who would later become my Father-law when I was 15 years old.

How did you become part of Manley Church? Dolores and I started attending Manley when our son Brett was four years old. He loved Linda Bean’s Sunday School class. We loved Dr. Emmett’s teaching. That was 21 years ago.

What is your role at Manley? My role at Manley is Associate Pastor of Business Administration. Also I serve as the Missions Coordinator.

What is your favorite part of that role? My favorite part is having the opportunity to share with boys and girls all here at Manly and all around the world about Christ and seeing them accept him as their personal Lord and Savior.

What are you reading?  Listening to?  Watching? Anything by Andy Stanley. Reading Oswald Chambers “My Utmost for his Highest” (again) “Too Small to Ignore” by Wes Stafford. Basically I love to read, usually two-three books a month.

*Please answer one of the key questions below:

*How would you describe your leadership style? I consider myself to be a transformational leader. By that I mean I focus upon the connections formed between leaders and followers. This type of leader motivates and inspires people by helping others see the importance and higher good of the task. I want each group member to fulfill their potential.

What do you do to unwind or stay active? Golf, Running, Hiking

What is one sure way to make you laugh? Usually at myself or when a random thought floats through my mind.

What is one of your biggest pet peeves? Apathy

What human being has most influenced your life? My wife Dolores. She is such a prayer warrior and visionary. She can see what I cannot even imagine sometimes.

Has there ever been a time when your world was shaken?  What happened?  How did it change you? Surrendering my life to full time vocational Christian Service, when by my plans, I had my life pretty well mapped out on my own. This was surrender after a six year struggle.

What is your favorite place on Earth? Anywhere when all my family is gathered together. 2nd place would be the Seven Pools in Maui.

Favorite food/restaurant - Italian.  Mama’s Fish House

Favorite TV Show or Movie - The Andy Griffith Show, Legends of the Fall

Favorite CD or album - I really like all kinds of music although I have zero talent for producing it only listening.

Favorite invention - I have never really invented anything, although I am constantly trying something new on my golf swing, most of the time unsuccessfully.
